+ Tutorial: Colour Pencil Gradient Shading by aerinl
-I find the best way to start off with pencil gradient shading is to first, very lightly, outline the markings and shading lines...
+ Minichi-01's Color Pencil Tutorial: Part One and Part Two
-A helpful two-part colored pencil and paints tutorial.
+ Colored Pencil Tutorial by LynxGriffin: Part 1 and Part 2
-This is a tutorial for creating really rich, deep colors with colored pencils. There are many different ways you can use colored pencils for fanart, but this is a method I really like using, so I thought I'd share it.
+ Tutorial - Colour Pencil by treijim
-What's this? A tutorial on coloured pencils? That's right. IT shows all steps from inking to colouring, though I only showed the colouring of one of nine characters. It would be ridiculous to show the steps for everyone. It look long enough as it is. Read on and I hope it's useful!
+ A Marker Tutorial: Part One and Part Two by taintedsilence
-A beautiful colored marker tutorial in two parts. Advanced marker techniques.
+ Marker Tutorial: Part One: Hair, Part Two: Body and Part Three: Clothes by AbioticFactor
-Okay before I start this one the only reason I'm posting this is because people have asked me for tips. So let me say that I've never had an art instruction in my life, and everything that I know is self-taught so I'm not an expert on how to draw or color.
+ Coloring with Copic: Lesson 1 and Lesson 2 by rubberyjido
-This is a step-by-step "tutorial" for my latest deviation, "Blue."

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
