The Edepth Angel art is by *mayshing and is used with permission. You can read the Edepth manga here.

The anime section was getting so big that I started to sweat just thinking about editing it. After looking it over, I realized that very few of the tutorials dealt specifically with making manga... of the ones that did, many were so general as to be indistinguishable from your run of the mill "anime style" tutorial.

So I split the manga off into its own section. We are sponsoring some awesome new tutorials -- ones that deal with the actual nuts and bolts of making manga, instead of just "hero characters should be tall" fluff -- so look forward to them. :w00t:

I will probably need to split the general anime/manga section again... ^^;

Actually, I think we can start making a tutorial sponsoring journal for the hospital and see how that works out. :)

lol!
I just checked the traditional inking category.... didn't see any inking tutorial that teaches ink techniques for emotions and background, mostly its on characters, do u think there's a need for that?

Look up Scott McCloud. He has a couple of how to draw books out. I read one of them so far and I must say, this guy is a genius.

this is amazing! thank you for putting all of this together :D

Gah, I haven't looked at that for so long. :XD:

*checks* Yup, it hasn't been updated since December.

I know I'm interested in emotion/background effects, so I would say yes -- we need those. *adds to list*

I'm so behind. Eh, but I split the manga section, and that's what I was most afraid of doing... the other stuff won't be so hard to catch up on.
